NEW BUSINESS:
Bill talked about his idea for a nighttime drive-in car show around June 21st. Jim Brusse volunteered his home and property in Gig Harbor as a host venue for this event in 2025.
Bill talked about taking the lead this year in designing a new Tigers on the Columbia T-shirt and another more generic version to be sold at our other two muscle car show events.
Ted Knapp talked about our plans for a possible Tigers on the Columbia in The Dalles, Oregon in the future. Ted has done some initial feasibility analysis, and the Event Coordination Team will visit this year and vet this as a possible Tigers venue.
Bill talked about having this year’s club Holiday Party at the Museum of Flight in Seattle. Ted has helped with some initial cost analysis and they both agree that this venue would be entertaining and more costly than other venues we have utilized in the past. A show of hands from the meeting attendees show a definite interest in this possible venue. Bill will work to resolve any cost or practical issues that would prevent the club from taking advantage of this potential venue. Once this is completed, an email blast will go out to all of our membership describing our plans and asking for interest.
Event Committee:
Ted and Bill described the club’s plans for this year’s Tigers on the Columbia event which will be held in Wenatchee. Sunday activities include a trip to Chelan to view Miller’s Car Museum. Sunday night a dinner at the Rail Station is planned. Wally will work on completing the 2025 Tigers flyer and our 2025 General Purpose flyer as soon as possible and to open online registration at our club website.
