Northwest Legends Club Meeting Minutes
(May 4, 2024)
MEETING OPENED:
Meeting called to order at 6:15pm by our President, Bill Nelson at Amante Pizza and Pasta, in Kent, WA.
ATTENDANCE:
The meeting total attendance was 12.
GUESTS & NEW MEMBERS:
No guests and no new members attended this Club Meeting.
SECRETARY’S REPORT:
Bob Stevenson read a condensed version of the April club meeting minutes.
TREASURER’S REPORT:
There was no treasurer’s report since Tom was absent.
CORRESPONDENCE:
There was no correspondence this month.
GUEST SPEAKER OF THE MONTH:
There was no guest speaker.
OLD BUSINESS:
There was no old business.
NEW BUSINESS:
Bill reported that the Firebirds All Pontiac show will be at Griot’s Garage on August 18th. There also appears to be no Chapter News anymore from GTOAA. Bill called Vic Schreck to discuss.
Event Committee:
Wally gave an update on the Tigers event. As of the meeting, we have 70 registrations, 66 cars (2 full size). We’ve sold 80 meals. There are 5 new sponsors for Tigers in the Tri-Cities, links are on the club website. Sponsor logos will appear on the 1st and 2nd Place trophies. Ted reported that we have 67 rooms reserved and 162 room nights. The GTOAA representative will be the incoming President, John Johnson. Ted also showed a presentation on the awards. The award ceremony will highlight 1974, 1964 and 2004 cars.
50/50 RAFFLE: won the 50/50 raffle, with $22 to the club and $22 to the winner.
SHOP TALK: Stephan discussed a 1969 Judge.
MEETING ADJOURNED:
The club’s business meeting adjourned at 7:30pm by our President, Bill Nelson. The next club meeting will be on Saturday, June 1st at 6:00pm at Amante Pizza and Pasta, 21020 84th Ave South, Kent, WA.
